 This Third Model Colt Walker is an exact reproduction manufactured on Colt machinery. As a special edition, only a few dozen guns were produced in honor of L.D. Nimschke (1832-1904), engraver for Colt, Winchester, Remington, Sharps, Smith & Wesson, Ballard, Manhattan, Marlin and dozens of other firearms manufacturers. The same revolver is shown after engraving (top) and following blueing and color casehardening by Doug Turnbull (6426 County Road 30, Holcomb, NY 14469). In the background L.D.
