The RX-1200i TBR/W takes the guesswork out of wind, without relying on cumbersome wind gauges or other technology. Select your ballistic group (including new ballistic groups for 200 and 300 yard zeros for greater elevation accuracy) and true ballistic range/wind automatically calculates wind hold values designed to work with Leupold's ballistic reticles.

True Ballistic Range (TBR)
Not only will you have accurate laser range finding capabilities with True Ballistic Range® technology matched to your rifle’s ballistics, you get the ballistics range to the target shown as a holdover point, an MOA adjustment, or the equivalent horizontal distance.
The RX™-1000i TBR and RX™-1200i TBR have Four True Ballistic Range readouts for rifle shooters:
MOA: The minutes of angle of elevation to adjust your riflescope for precise zero.
HOLD: The number of inches or centimeters to hold over or under aim point on target.
MIL: The milliradians of angle of elevation to adjust your riflescope for precise zero.
BAS: The equivalent horizontal range for which you should hold for use with your bullet’s ballistics.
Advanced OLED Technology (RX 1000 / RX 1200)
The OLED advantage: A major advancement for the RX platform is the significant improvement in light transmission and resolution. Leupold developed a platform to support an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display. Instead of looking through a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) as with traditional rangefinders, where the LCD film reduces image quality by stripping out light and reducing the resolution, the OLED display is reflected into the light path of the RX optical system leaving a crystal clear image. When in early morning or late evening low-light conditions, the 3x greater light transmission over competitive LCD rangefinders will give you that extra advantage.

Line Of Sight Distance (LOS) gives you the straight line distance to the target.
Select models of Leupold’s legendary RX rangefinders now feature TRIG, a unique function that is included to support engineers and professionals. TRIG displays the true horizontal range (cosine) and true vertical range (sine), which is based upon trigonometry and the Line Of Sight distance.
When you want multiple readings in one quick sweep, just hold down the Power button and the display will continuously update with accurate line-of-site measurments. As an extra benefit, on courses utilizing prism technology, your GX will beep and the display will freeze the moment you scan past a prism-topped flag stick, assuring you of an accurate reading.
