We wish we could claim that Jim Carmichel photographed this scene just as he found it. The truth is, he borrowed the skull and a '73 Winchester from a Prescott merchant. Then he and Production Manager Dave LeGate "planted" the relics on the nearby desert. It sure makes a gun enthusiast ponder: "If only that Winchester could talk!"
